Real Madrid Deny Ramos Broke Anti-Doping Rules

Real Madrid have denied that club captain Sergio Ramos fizzled a doping test before the 2017 Champions League final.

Another report by Football Leaks, published by Der Spiegel on Friday, asserts that a pee test given by the defender before the final against Juventus in this way tested positive for dexamethasone, a prohibited substance.

In spite of this positive test, which was found a month after the game in Cardiff, Wales, UEFA supposedly made no action against Real Madrid or Ramos himself.

In an announcement discharged on Friday, be as it may, the Blancos denied any bad behavior.

Their statement read: "In connection to the information published by Der Spiegel alluding to our captain Sergio Ramos, the club expresses the following:

"Sergio Ramos has never breached anti-doping control regulations.

"UEFA asked for auspicious information and close the issue instantly, as it's common in these cases, after confirmation by the specialists from the World Anti-Doping Agency, AMA, and of UEFA itself.

"As to rest of the content of the previously mentioned publication, the club won't address proof of such an insubstantial nature."
